Not so fast...Lee!

So....Another Saturday morning and another College GameDay gone by.

Where are we with our picks this year? The BCS is upside down with only one legit Undeafted team left in contention. So who does LSU play this January? Will it be a repeat and rematch with Alabama or will it be a chance for another team with only one loss to take a shot at LSU. The way it looks now depending on the how the rest of the season plays out it might be BAMA all over again but...we'll see.

But...not so fast...... What about Oklahoma. They did struggle against Baylor but doesn't every team struggle during the season. Who gets LSU in January....What do you think Lee!

College Game Day sets them up for us each week and the week coming up is going to be amazing as Wisconsin goes head to head with Penn State. A Wisconsin win means that the Badgers get a rematch with Michigan State for the Big 10 Championship and a chance at a big time bowl game after the Holidays.

Go Badgers! Seems like a likely win what with the troubles that Penn State are facing but.....Not so fast...right Lee!

We'll see.

Peace

It's Time to Talk Turkey!

So what is a Turkey Bowl all about? Is it about family or is it really about a 6 year long rivalry between two teams that frankly have a great deal of dislike for each other. The Wild Turkeys haven't won a Turkey Bowl game is 6 years and they seem desperate. Their secret weapon, running back Joe Faron just hasn't been able to make it happen on the field. Last year their outstanding SAM linebacker Super Dad Faron got the play of the game with a pick 6 interception for a touchdown. But it wasn't enough.

The Sean's have dominated the Turkeys even with league MVP Sean Cavanagh sidelined with lameness last year because he had to work. Somehow the Sean's were able to pull out a victory after a touchdown was miscounted which put the Sean's ahead for good also on a controversial call in the endzone when tall Sean caught a pass which the replay showed his feet were clearly out of bounds.

This year Linebacker Jesus Garcia is looking to have a big game. Also we'll see how new 1st Round draft choices Greg and Scott Ernst will do as they will have to start for their respective teams as Rookies.

Stay Tuned. This writer feels that it is the Turkey's year to win...but you never know.

Peace
